Rosemary R. Seva
Rosemary Seva is a Professor of Industrial Engineering and former Dean at the Gokongwei College of Engineering – De La Salle University, Philippines. She is the current President of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society of the Philippines (HFESP) and the past President of the Southeast Asian Network of Ergonomics Societies (SEANES). She is one of the Top 150 scholars and scientists in the Philippines from Webometrics.
She obtained her doctorate degree at the Nanyang Technological University (Singapore) where she wrote her dissertation on affective design of mobile phones. She has a master’s degree in Ergonomics from the University of New South Wales (Australia) and another master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from De La Salle University. She has written a number of papers that dealt on usability, product design, cognitive task analysis, and physical ergonomics in local and international journals.
Alma Maria Jennifer A. Gutierrez
Alma Maria Jennifer Gutierrez has a PhD degree in Industrial Engineering and an Asean Engineer. She is currently an Associate professor at the Industrial Engineering Department of De La Salle University and has been with the university since 1994. She held leadership positions in the University such as being the Department Chairperson (AY2006-2007) and Vice Chairperson (AY2003- 2006; AY2010-2012) of the Industrial Engineering Department. She is also the current Vice President of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society of the Philippines (HFESP) and the Associate Director of DLSU’s Human Factors and Ergonomics Center.
She has published several papers in International and local journals in the areas of ergonomics and safety. She published in the International Journal of Industrial Ergonomics and International Journal of Aviation Psychology – both ISI-journal. She also has a Scopus listed publication. Aside from this she has a book chapter in the Human Factors and Ergonomics in Consumer Product Design published by CRC Press Taylor and Francis Group.
She has done numerous ergonomics projects specifically the introduction of the SPEED (Safety Productivity Enhancement through Ergonomics Development) program to Australian, Norwegian, Canadian Embassy and Nestle Philippines. Usability studies with Smart Telecommunications Company and Globe Telecoms.
Rex Aurelius Robielos
Jazmin Chong Tangsoc is an Assistant Professor at De La Salle University-Manila, Philippines. She graduated BS Industrial Engineering minor in Chemical Engineering at De La Salle University-Manila, Philippines. Jazmin obtained her Masters Degree in Human Factors Engineering in Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Her research area is in usability, user experience, health care in ergonomics, cognitive ergonomics.
